The WSU Libraries offer many ways to request physical items and articles from other libraries. However, the copyright for e-books makes requesting digital copies of entire books complicated, so any Interlibrary Loan requests for e-books can be fulfilled with a print copy if it is available, but we will contact you first to see if a print copy is preferred. While you may be able to receive a pdf of an e-book chapter through an interlibrary loan request, being able to fulfill requests for digital copies of entire e-books is rare. WSU Libraries will contact you on a case-by-case basis to verify your preference and information need. If a request can't be fulfilled, the WSU Libraries will consider purchasing it for our collection.
